Nomadland: Surviving America in the Twenty-First Century by Jessica Bruder

5.0

I was not 100% sure what would happen to my mindset while reading this book. However, I am beyond thrilled that this book now belongs to our library.

Jessica did not just fly by the nomadic living. No, in fact, she dived into it full force! She bought the van, added the solar panels and even had mishaps. She gave life to those who thought they were lifeless because of what the so-called "All American dream". Truth be told, I feel that the "All American dream" is more or less the "All American Debt". We all struggle and I wouldn't be surprised to see more people my age group joining us on the road.

While currently living this nomadic life, I have realized I love it, so does my fiancee. We feel free and with bills being a lot less than living in an apartment, we couldn't be happier. This book has introduced us to new locations we are already near now, new people and new mindsets. We look forward to all the goods and bads of being "houseless" and welcome a debt-free life.
