One of the best I've read but I wish books like this would use fewer and less graphic descriptions of abuse. Why Does He Do That? gives the most accurate description of living day to day with an abuser that other books forget, including See What You Made Me Do. However, this book looks at solutions more holistically and longterm than anything else I've seen. She chose to focus on exceptions of policing, but left out the 40% figure known of officers despite so much of the book citing the US.
Graphic: Bullying, Child abuse, Child death, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Misogyny, Physical abuse, Rape, Sexism, Sexual assault, Sexual violence, Stalking, and Murder
Moderate: Forced institutionalization and Colonisation
