Found Underneath by K.L. Kreig

4.0

K.L. Kreig has made her way onto my one-click list! Found Underneath, the conclusion to her Finding Me series, was absolutely stunning. It was well-written, beautiful, and full of feels. From the start, I was just as enthralled with the continuation of the story as I was with the first book. There is a ton of depth here. This isn’t just a billionaire romance; it’s about opening yourself up to risks, opening your heart, and forgiveness.

It takes off where book one leaves off. Just as Shaw and Willow think things are copacetic between the two of them and that they were going to take this fake relationship into the real zone, the past rears its ugly head. Caught between his love of his family and his new love for Willow, Shaw gets stuck between a rock and a hard place. And Willow needs to discover just how much she’s willing to forgive. Their new and fragile love definitely gets put to the test. They continue to be well-written, well-developed and complex characters. And their connection is practically visible while their chemistry remains smoking hot.

There have been times where a conclusion has lost its steam from book one, but this is definitely not the case here. If anything, Kreig upped the ante with Found Underneath—making it more evocative, more emotional, just plain more. I’d recommend reading with a box of tissues nearby. I certainly needed them. If you haven’t jumped on the Kreig bandwagon yet, what are you waiting for! Start with this duet, I promise you it’ll rock your world.
