Having Watched the movie a couple of years ago, I finally decided to actually read the book, and I have to say; short as it is, it is great.
The cynical tone Carson uses as he narrates this story is hilarious, and I am sure a lot of people can in some ways relate to the frustration Carson feels about being ignored just because his dreams are different. Sure he can be a true ass sometimes, and I am not sure I would necessarily like him in real life, even though I like his narration, but this book is still funny as hell. Multiple times throughout I laughed out loud and reread lines because they were really good.
Although I have mostly known Chris Colfer from his Glee days, I think this book proves he really has some great writing talent. And I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a quick but funny read.
