Blech - what horrible writing!

This book was fast-paced -- I'll give it that. It took me about 90 minutes to read from cover to cover.

I found myself horribly distracted by the times. It works in the television series, 24 , but in book form, the times were big, bold interruptions. I kept thinking to myself, how did it only take 5 minutes for him to do all that?

I guess I have to remember that 30-something women are not the target audience. If I were a teenage boy, I'd probably love this book. Stuff gets blown up, people are shot and quite a few kidnappings take place.

Sadly, I will undoubtedly read the remaining books in the series because I'm nosy and want to know what the heck the Ormand Singularity is.
