The Plague by Albert Camus

3.0

Not exactly for me. This was another book for my Book club. It appears to me that Camus had some message that he was trying to convey about the circumstances of the world in which he grew up. The book was written in 1948 I think and he had reportedly been in occupied France and active in the French resistance. That much I know about him as a person. I never really got to look into any supposed message he had in writing this book, but I firmly believe that when writing about the plague in this novel he was in some way conveying a description of the difficult life events through which he lived.
