Burning Girls by Veronica Schanoes

3.0

Interesting choice of setting for a fantasy story: New York City in the early years of the 20th century, among Jewish girls newly-immigrated from Poland. Be warned, also, this is a dark story. If you're in the mood for something that'll leave you smiling at the end, you should move on and come back to this story later.
