While this book was good enough to read in one day, a few things did admittedly drive me crazy. First, the inner monologue of every character goes on for an eternity, throughout the entire book. A lot of what is said, could’ve very well been shortened. The writing also felt very redundant at times, either using the same phrase over and over to describe one room or character. Sam also came out of nowhere, and I think his perspective could’ve been enjoyed I think throughout the book. The twist however, was very well done and I will say I did not see it coming.
