I’m not into the masochistic sex stuff. So some of that I had to skim.
Also, I hate when men call women “baby girl”, especially in a sexual context. The author started using this term 75% of the way into the book and then used it constantly for the rest of the book and it was so off putting that it cost this a whole Star.
Nonetheless, I found the story compelling and was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this book. The writing (with a few exceptions) was solid and the spice was top notch ( and would probably be even more so for those S&M lovers).
