Death in Her Hands by Ottessa Moshfegh

5.0

Death in her Hands, Otessa Moshfeigh ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Magda is from Belarus, she's tough, overstayed her visa and has poor choice in men. She's 19, and young blake did something bad. Vesta is totally sane, she is solving this mystery piece by piece.

But none of that is true. Unless of course, it is.

Moshfeigh solidifies her standing as favourite author with this novel, there is an ever present ominous energy flowing through which creeps back on you and startles you. The plot thickens and twists with Vestas mind and you really do not see the ending coming.

I can't say more without giving away what happens, but let me tell you I was GASPING at the end of this book. 👏🏼 😢 🫨
