Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll
2.0
I don’t have many specific criticisms of the story other than that it didn’t really capture me.
However, I have to say that I really didn’t enjoy the fat phobia or homophobia. It seems absolutely true to Ani’s character to hold those beliefs, but it was a slog to read about Ani’s constant obsession over her and others’ weights and her deep uncomfortableness with gay people, and I didn’t think it added anything valuable to the story.

Moderate: Fatphobia
