Very interesting take on the Slender Man urban legend. The book is written in a way so that you can experience the "horrors" which the "victims" will experience. The frustration, paranoia, turmoil, fear and finally acceptance of this journey Matt takes you through makes you sympathetic with him, and how Lauren's disappearance affected him.

I think this is a good starting point into Slender Man.
