The Bad Queen: Rules and Instructions for Marie-Antoinette by Carolyn Meyer

5.0

I've always enjoyed other books in this series, and with this book I was definitely not disappointed. Marie Antoinette was hated and perhaps she may have deserved some of the slurs that were thrown at her, but by the end of her story I felt a deep sadness. Poor Marie Antoinette. This book accomplishes exactly what the author was intending for the reader to feel towards "the bad queen", I think, and I finished this book in less than two days. Definitely recommend to others who enjoy historical fiction.
