Blue Midnight by Tess Thompson

5.0

When I get a book like this one I can get lost for a few days. The stories that take you to other places. Make you feel things, sadness, happiness, joy, fear, intrigue. This one has it all.

I’ve enjoyed several of Tess Thompson’s books and each is great. This one is no exception. It will pull at your heart and your mind. It’s got some magic. Some edge of your seat. And the love... Oh that is always the best part.

After Blythe’s husband decides he wants something new she has to accept the fact that her marriage is over. Blythe did not expect for her life to chance this late in the game but some things can be a blessing. When Michael leaves her for another, younger woman, Blythe and their two little girls move from their home. They have place to go and will be ok. But Blythe is lonely and with her girls going away for their dads marriage she needs a change. Her sister talks her into going to Idaho and looking up the only man who ever made her weak in the knees. She has to go in search of her destiny, don’t ya think. I sure do and am glad she did....

Now if you want to find out anymore all I can say is you have to read this book. It’s great. It has so much going on and keeps you wanting more. It has so much love. So much happiness. And even a bit of a mystery. I didn’t get the mystery part right so that was good. It’s one you will not want to put down. Great characters, great setting, great scenery, beautiful mountains, soothing lakes, great love.

I gave it a bit 5 stars but it would be way more if possible. One you will truly love.
