Unlocked: An Oral History of Haden's Syndrome by John Scalzi
4.0
This is a companion novella to [b:Lock In|21418013|Lock In|John Scalzi|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1399037491s/21418013.jpg|26115712]. Some have suggested reading this first because they were confused by what was going on in at the beginning of the novel. I often do, but this time did not get annoyed by being dropped into a confusing scenario without the context to understand what was going on. As such, I don't think reading this novella first is necessary, and could be a small spoiler for things that are interesting about the novel.
Regardless, read this if you read Locked In, it is well worth your time.
