You know that feeling when you watched Game of Thrones and Viserys is killed by having gold poured on his head with Danaerys watching stoicly and your reaction is simply “YES!”?? Same feeling I got at the end of part 1 of QOS…
And just when I thought that my mind could not be down again - it was! Part two was even more mind blowing 🤯. Just when I thought the story was ending, she introduced a twist that I did not see coming.
You have to give credit where credit is due. I love SJM’s books not because of beautiful prose (for that I highly recommend Elie Shafak, Isabel Allende or Ann Patchett - no offense to SJM intended) but because she is an AMAZING storyteller that knows how to spin a yarn that takes you INTO the world where the story takes place. Her characters are well crafted, warts and all; Add to that, her knack of sending the story in such unexpected yet real directions - mind blowing!!!🤯
Quick, where’s the next instalment?
