As I was reading/listening to this book, I was thinking I was going to give it somewhere in the 3-4 star range, but the ending brought the score down, I was very disappointed with it. I liked the characters well enough, but I didn't feel the chemistry with the main characters as more than friends. I also feel like the author didn't know what tone to go for because for the most part it was lighthearted and sweet, then all of the sudden, a character talked about being raped and it felt like I got whiplash because it came out of nowhere. I went into this book wanting a lighthearted sweet romcom, and this wasn't it. Overall, the book was fine, it was a way to pass the time, I might try to read another book by the author because I think this book definitely had potential.
