Ellie Engle is the kind of representation that all young LGBTQIA+ girls could use. She is so relatable from her struggles and how she overcomes them to her confusion towards having a crush on her female best friend. Her growth is a true pleasure to read. A light and easy read that I would highly recommend starting at the upper elementary ages. A true delight of a book that heals the soul. <3
