The Blood of the Fold by Terry Goodkind
This book was fairly disappointing. I can see that it's setting up for the next book. It also is a very short book which is part of the reason I gave it 3 starts.

However, most of the book Kalhan and Richard are apart...again. They spend the whole book trying to get back to each other...again. Kalhan is taken captive and goes to the Sister's old place with Sisters of the Dark. Zed also gets taken their, but separately. Richard spends most of the booking being King Rahl and forcing everyone to unite, but then uses a fancy magic tunnel to go straight to Kalhan and the end of the book.
It all seems rather contrived. I know that it's fiction, but I think it could have been planned out a little bit better. I will continue on to the next book. I've heard the next is one of the best.
I assume in the next book Richard and Kalhan are together. I hope so.
