I liked the overall story of this book and the characters were well developed! I also really loved the amount of research that Emma Castle has put into this story—you see it through every page, the animals, the jungle, the mystical cave, in Thorne himself.
There was something missing with the plot though—I was missing that extra oomph, that emotional connection to the characters.
Still recommend if you’re in the mood for a Tarzan retelling!
