Kill Everything That Moves: The Real American War in Vietnam by Nick Turse

This book is not a chronological account of major events in the Vietnam War. It is strictly an exploration of various accounts of the unparalleled American brutality against the Vietnamese, allies and enemies alike.
This was a very difficult read just by the account of war itself but it adds a human dimension that helps grasp the war. You will not look at Vietnam the same way.
