Creepy kids is probably one of my favorite subgenres of horror fiction. (And nonfiction if I'm being honest.) So 10000% I said yes to KIDS ARE HELL!

Mannequins, mirrors and snuff films - oh my! And that's only an inkling of what is lingering in these pages.  Like with most collections/anthologies, stories were hit and miss throughout.  However, I'll take all the demon children that remind me why it's ok that I have none of my own.

I remember watching the original Bad Seed movie and I was fascinated with seeing such an evil little child.  Children are supposed to be innocent... right? Thus began my deep dive into nature vs nurture and well... humans are such a crazy species.

22 stories are contained within KIDS ARE HELL.... and if you love this trope as much as I do, get your hands on this collection... and if you have children of your own... well, good luck to ya. *wink*

My full review for this will come in a future Scream Magazine issue so get to subscribing my peoples. :D  Until then, stay safe out there friends and beware the children.
