What a book!!! I love this so much. Chloe and Red have great chemistry, and I love that they're open with each other and respect each other's boundaries. They communicate. Which is my most favorite thing to look for when reading romance novels. There was a misunderstanding but they managed to talk it out like adults. But being an adult doesn't mean boring. They're cute as hell together.

While I don't have chronic pain, I sort of understand Chloe. I was diagnosed with depression and while it's not the same thing with chronic pain, I understood the effects of self isolation to people. While reading this book, I wanted to follow Chloe's lead and make a list of my own to Get a Life. Maybe I will. Her story makes me feel like I can do it too.

Red's story is also noteworthy. He wasn't there just to be an eye candy, but he is there to give voice to men. To show them that it's okay to not be okay, and that they are allowed to be vulnerable. Despite being described as a "bad boy" with his tattoos and motorcycle and his overall sexiness (which he definitely is), we see him as a big softie who likes art, and being able to help people.

I loved all the characters in this story. They're quirky, but not cartoonish. Dani and Eve are a delight! I can't wait to read their own stories.
