Reading this book was quite a ride.
I really enjoyed it though, I really liked the length of the chapters & there wasn’t a time when I was bored even though it took quite its time to get to the root of the story.
I love a story with a scary sentiment House. This was also a very atmospheric read, if you like gothic & horror elements it’s a good combination of those.
What I also really liked was the way mushrooms were included in the story, I don’t want to spoiler to much but if you know a bit about mycology you find parts of the story inspired by it.
Plus its does give off some culty vibes.
Definitely check the triggerwarnings though !
