Alright buckle the h3ll up, because idk how I’m even going to begin to describe this book. This one is NOTHING like Colleen’s “style”, but let me tell you she has a gift. If you thought Verity was crazy, this is a whole different level. Comparing Verity to Too Late is like comparing a smoke bomb to the Atomic bomb. I'M NOT EVEN JOKNG! The number of times I said WTF out loud cannot be counted. Once you think it can’t get worse, it gets worse, and worse, and worse. You realize how many pages are still left in the book and you’re like HOW? There has to be a happy resolution, and then it gets even worse, which is actually fascinating. Think about it…how can it keep getting that bad and stick to the storyline is beyond me! The plot will suck you in. You get so emotionally connected to the characters. One second you’re rooting for them and the next you’re crying for them. The tumultuous relationships will make you cringe and the storyline will break your heart in a million pieces. When you realize this crap happens to real people…it will make you want to vomit. It’s gut-wrenching, it’s cruel, it’s wrong, it’s painful. It leaves you scratching your head. I had to re-read several sentences twice. You’ll never been the same after this one. The trigger warnings include r@pe, @busive, relationship, intimate partner @buse & v!olence, substance @ddiction, Schizophrenia, murd3r, drug us3 & @buse. For the love of all things holy, don’t let anyone under 18 read this. Hoover said it for herself, this is not for children no matter how “mature” they are.
