“Every second I’m with you is eternal.
I’ve never felt anything like it.
If this isn’t magic, then what is?”
this book was so much more than just a rom-com.
Emma and Justin’s separate struggles with their family were very well handled, and the reason for their hesitancy to date was so realistic.
normally in romances i feel like there’s a lot of miscommunication that could be solved by having a simple conversation, but here theirs issues were extremely complicated and felt real.
i felt myself relating to Emma a lot. her going from forgiving someone for so long and defending them no matter what to being fed up with the way she was treated and finally breaking down was so insane to see. her character was so fleshed out and amazing. i loved her relationship with Maddy. their friendship was everything.
Justin is the book boyfriend. the love he had for his siblings was so special. i loved his POV, his internal monologue, his everything, really. all in all, he’s the definition of a walking green flag and a true gentleman. we all need a Justin in our lives.
