I very much enjoyed this book. I grew up reading about zimbabwe and what was happening out there and being able to read the book helped me give perspective for what people went through immigratinv here. The author's writing is very creative and unique, and I enjoyed reading it. The way that she organizes words and speaks with the grammar structure of her language of origin Made me not want to put the book down. I felt like I could keep reading and reading and reading even when parts of the book made me feel emotional. Even when parts of the book made me sick to my stomach. She presented this very real story about This very real character in a way that invited me into a narrative.I probably wouldn't have otherwise explored or experienced.

My only complaint about the book at all is that I had a hard time following it for the first twenty pages. Once I got into the flow, I didn't want to put the book down.I read it in a few hours.
