Ohana Means Family by Ilima Loomis

4.0

I received this audiobook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. The story was cute and though repetitive you can see the love and time that goes into making a perfect luau for a family. The story reads like a song, which is heard as the melody plays in the background. In the end, the author provides definitions of terms mentioned throughout the story, as well as a little of the history of why these gatherings are so important to their culture. I like that this story can be read by people of all ages and helps them understand a little of the Hawaiian culture.
