This book was much less angsty than the previous. It was also more snarcky and fun. The "big, bad crisis" in this book was rather predictable and the romantic relationship evolved rather sudden. Especially because we didn't hear much about Callys feelings before he suddenly sprung declarations of love out of the blue. Of course we knew from the beginning that the two MCs we're designated lovers, but there weren't any of the delicious longing from the other books. It was still an okay book, but I didn't connect with the lovestory and I didn't get any angst, hence I'm disappointed.
