**** Really good. This series was great, honestly educational. Adding Sara Cate to my repeat author list.

This book in the series was published in 2022 during a year filled with loads of feminist romance novels. I loved how Cate weaved a feminist narrative with the main theme of letting go of societal expectation--for Beau that's masculine control and unfulfilling relationships (bc of lack of regard for girlfriends), for Maggie it's the whole package of women being taught that any sexuality, including having a curvy body, is a sin. Watching Maggie take control was satisfying as was the give and take within the D(f)/s(m-brat) relationship. (I had problems with the D(m)/s(f) dynamic in Prais (Salacious Players Club, #1), but this side of the dynamic was so nice.)
