The Big Bad Wolf by James Patterson

2.0

This was a very disappointing book in the series. Why did Cross transfer to the FBI as if to promote work life balance, when it was never Washington PD cases that pulled him from his family. Only when the FBI got involved did he end up all over the world. The love story with Jamilla feels forced abs makes sense. Does he have to fall in love with every woman?

I found the identity switch of the Wolf just boring obvious misdirection. And why did Patterson send so much time having get to Elizabeth Connelly in captivity to just a abandoned her story once she was rescued. After everything it would of been great to see her deal with the fact her husband was the reason for her captivity.

And finally Christine is back for little Alex. What a waste of a character that was poorly treated by having her do something so out of character. The Christine we were first introduced too would never have left a child.

I hope the next installment is better but if this is anything like Patterson Women Murder Club with extreme low points in the series I'm not holding much hope.
