The Vanderbeeker family picks up where the left off at the end of book 5 on a road trip to surprise their dad for his birthday! And in typical Vanderbeeker fashion, this road trip is full of adventures, misadventures, and shenanigans.
This was actually my least favorite Vanderbeeker book. While I still love this series, the shenanigans of the kids had more serious and life altering consequences this time that annoyed me. I get that this is a middle grade book and the kids have mostly free reign but this book is the only one where I really desired some discipline from the parents for some of the behaviors of the kids.
