172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad

1.0

I did not like this book. At all. I admit that I skipped through many parts because it was extremely boring and wasted the reader's time with information about the characters that was unimportant. I did not need 2/3 of the book to drag on about what the daily lives of each of the three teens consisted of, and then zip through their character development when it mattered most (on the moon).

I hate to admit the story was not frightening and for those who have seen/read The Thing by Alan Dean Foster, or are just fans of horror/sci-fi, could see the ending immediately. I understand some things could be lost in translation but I can't help but feel my time was wasted.
