I feel like I would have enjoyed it much more if I didn't love the movie already.
I love how deep we go into Jack's head and how the characters are so much more fleshed out and 'real' in the book.
In the middle part, it dragged a bit for me, but the overall payoff was worth it.
The story is iconic and it has some really spooky moments.
