Ghosted is a standalone book. I have only read one book from this author before.

I'm sad I didn't like this book more. It was suggested to me when I asked recs for 12 books by 12 friends challenge. I really liked the idea of reading it because I loved Loren Hale in Addicted series and I thought I'd like Jonathan at least half as much.

This was not a bad book by all means but I rate book by enjoyment and I couldn't forgive the hero. He was great after coming back to their lives and when he stopped drinking and doing drugs. But to me it didn't change the fact that he chose his vices and fame over them and slept with other women after their break up while she never slept with other men. I didn't like how it felt like he made bunch of mistakes in their past while she was only trying to be supportive girlfriend.

In the present time I enjoyed seeing Jonathan and Kennedy together but the fact that I felt like he didn't deserve her affected my enjoyment. I think my favorite part of this book had to be Jonathan's relationship with their daughter.

The parts focused on past were so confusing to me as they were written in the second point of view but it was interesting to see their past too and why she was so in love with him even after all this time.

All in all while I never could forgive the hero I think it was good second chance book and it showed how much alcohol and drugs can change a person. It just wasn't for me.
