Good Omens by Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman

3.0

I love Terry Pratchett, but Neil Gaiman has usually missed the mark for me, so I wasn't sure how I would feel about this one. And the answer is: somewhere right in the middle. I enjoyed the style and humor more than I've enjoyed most stuff just by Neil Gaiman, but I didn't find it as charming or funny as my favourite Discworld books.

The audiobook is really well done, but I think the main thing for me is that there were too many characters, most of which I wasn't as interested in as the main ones, so a lot of it felt choppy and I couldn't quite get into it. I expect I might actually enjoy the TV show version of this more, and I'll give that a go.
