I had DNF'ed this book last year. But to continue with the story of Loren & Lily, I gave this book another chance.
The beginning & ending, were very captivating. I liked how this book highlighted the main issues such as parental pressure, harassment, false allegations, sleeping disorders. There were so many norms that Ryke & Daisy went against to protect their relationship. The best part was Ryke calling Daisy as Dais (one of my favourite bookish nicknames). Towards the middle, it felt like the plot was forced only to extend the length of the book. The love language of every couple in this book had proved to be 'INTIMATE TOUCH' in public places, & honestly, I was getting sick with it already.
The turning point made me glued to this book because of a lot of surprises that unfolded. It made me feel as if all the problems that the Calloways endured, had finally come to a halt. This book gave me hope for good times for them in the upcoming books. Overall, it was a moderate read for me, although, I had expected more from this book. I would not recommend it that much, but if you are really interested to know how the romance of Daisy and Ryke erupts, it's a good read for you.
