The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods
3.0
Maybe a 3.5. The story held my attention despite a few holes. Magic realism aspects are clunky, and about 2/3 the book it is clear the author wanted to emphasize a particular aspect of a misgynistic culture, and while it is not heavy handed, it is not subtle, either. This is a good novel with a premise that might have been great with tighter editing.
