Wild Savage Stars: A Sweet Black Waves Novel by Kristina Pérez

4.0

So, it’s been a year since I read the first book, and while I remember enjoying it, I can’t remember everything obviously. Of course, I felt utterly betrayed at the ending. And this book’s ending once again slams you in the heart.

The pacing in this book is still a little slower, and it can get kind of annoying when the characters go back and forth with their feelings, but overall, I still really like Branwen’s personality. Her duty to her land and willingness to do whatever it takes is not something we see too often in YA. And while I like Ruan, I’m still unsure of how his and Branwen’s relationship will progress.

Looking forward to the sequel.
