I seriously thought about DNFing this book. I was not invested with any of the characters. The only one that I thought would be interesting to follow we don't get to see till halfway through the book. And it's not like I was confused or miss remembering anything/anyone I finished Hazelwood right before starting this one. This just felt lazy and a ask from a publisher. I don't think Melissa Albert's heart was in this one.
