truly an all timer. This is one of the cookbooks that I like to look through, not so much because I wish to cook from it, but because I love Marcella's voice. Tell me how you REALLY feel about squid ink pasta Marcella!!!!!

Stand outs for me are: the sausage and bell pepper pasta. I don't even like bell peppers particularly, but, annoyingly, peeling them does make all the difference. This recipe is so good.

The smothered onions. Terrific.

The chicken. It's the only roast chicken we make, all others (yes even the famous buttermilk) are a disappointment.
