Brontorina by James Howe
5.0
What an adorable picture book! I was searching the stacks the other day for a book missing a pop-out dinosaur, and stumbled upon this.
A brontosaurus wishes to dance, but finds she is far too large for Madame Lucille's dance studio, and certainly too large for human ballet shoes! But where there's a will, there's a way, and Brontorina's hard work is not overlooked. This book is a wonderful introduction to the concept of creating accommodations for diversity, with a "silly" story line that will certainly have your kids laughing!
