The Baby Project by Miranda Liasson

5.0

If you want a book that makes you feel then I recommend this one.

Elizabeth Kingston has spent the time after her divorce taking care of her OB patients. If she stays busy then that leaves her little to no time to fall in love or relax. She did allow herself an affair while working in Africa with Doctors Without Borders and that ended in heartbreak for her. Due to a health issue, she is running out of time to have a baby so she has chosen to try IVF. She just has to find the right donor.

Grant Wilbanks is a international TV journalist who has returned to renovate his Aunt's house while waiting out his punishment after a issue in Kenya. He hasn't forgotten Elizabeth and regrets hurting her in Africa. He just isn't a person who can live a settled life. He thrives on adventure and the fast pace of journalism. She has asked him to be her donor with no strings attached.

This is a story about second chances and learning to appreciate what is right in front of you. I truly enjoyed every moment.
