I think the main themes of this books were meant to be loss, grief and letting go. Which I am always a fan of. I think those kinds of themes in ya books are important because you never know when you will be faced with loss. However, I think this book needed to be filled out a little more. The plot was sometimes Jerky, we'd be doing one thing then suddenly we'd be somewhere completely different. The final fight was also very confusing. The end of the book way maybe confusing in general. I think the concept was so cool and I wish we could have spent more time at school with lane. Solid otherwise though. I enjoyed both main characters and the representation shown throughout this book.
