I *love* Tessa Bailey and I was really looking forward to this one and I have to admit I was slightly disappointed. I didn’t find this one as fun as other Tessa Bailey books and I missed the hijinks her other books have.
This book centers around Hallie and Julian; Hallie is a local in the wine-centered town she lives in and Julian is back visiting his family winery while he writes a novel. Hallie and Julian almost kissed in high school and Hallie has been pining after him ever since. They are totally opposites (duh) but fall in love (also duh). While I found the banter and plot lacking a bit and it was too much insta-love for me, as always Tessa killed the spicy scenes, which mad this a worthy read for me.
I’ll still read anything Tessa Bailey writes.
