It definitely wasn’t a good decision to read this after falling into a slump, but Deacon and LaRynn’s story was incredibly fun to read! It explored second-chance romance and marriage of convenience for those who want to know a bit about this book. I’d really recommend it if you were looking for romance set in a small town. It has great banter, good friendship dynamics, and a little found family throughout the story. In a way, this book was pure fluff and very lighthearted with no third act breakup. What I loved more about this book is that our main characters have so much depth and personality. And I really appreciate how this novel realistically tackles the difficulties of marriage and relationships.
Moderate: Abandonment
