I was confused how this one started, leaping forward in time and back into the present. It also took me quite a while to listen to, but once I got into it I was hooked, same as the first book.
I love the characters and watching Jamie and Claire's relationship grow and change and strengthen.
There were a few times this book brought me to tears.I was so excited when they were expecting a baby. I cried when she lost it and blamed Jamie. Oh! And the amount of stuff that happened with Jack Randall? And with Alex and Mary. Just...wow. That's a lot.
There's really so much that happens it's hard to remember and keep track of. I could easier re-read and catch new things that I missed.
