Dani is quite an unlikeable character so I was surprised that I stuck with the book. Obviously she was going through a lot so she sort of had good reason not to be. This book didn’t make me cry but it did make my heart ache for the people in it. It was a different feeling that I don’t really know how to explain. Made me quite reflective too.
