The Anthropocene Reviewed: Essays on a Human-Centered Planet by John Green

hopeful informative reflective slow-paced

5.0

Part history of the Anthropocene and some of its most unique, and/or mundane, and/or  utterly strange pieces, and part autobiography of John Green, it’s a wonderful read that asks you to consider how we as a species have shaped the Earth, how you feel about living in the age which we find ourselves, and how you yourself go about living it. In all that John Green does with this book, from his profoundly deep quotes that I am still thinking about to the profoundly hilarious lines that left me giggling and to everything in between, I give The Anthropocene Reviewed five stars.
