The first story was a little too confusing for me. It also didn't feel like it had much of a conflict besides the neighborhood physically fighting the Doom Patrol. But the rest of the stories were entertaining. The Retco characterizations of the Big Three were fun, and while I didn't like the second volume of Shade, the Changing Girl, Shade's issue in Milk Wars was laid out well. I liked it overall.
